schoolsthatrockEunice vs Clarendon Derby. The Eunice vs Clarendon Derby takes place on 5 and 6 May in Bloemfontein. The girls participate in tennis, squash, debating, publick speaking,chess, cross country and hockey. The last netball games had to be cancelled due to bad weather.
Debating: Clarendon High School for Girls, East London, won both the junior and senior sections.
Hockey:
- Eunice 1st team beat Clarendon 7 – 0
- Eunice Colts (2nd team) won 5-2 after being tied 2 all for most part of the game.
- Eunice 18C beat Clarendon 4-0
- Eunice 14B won 3-2
- Eunice U16A They played in extreme weather conditions and the match ended in a tie 1-1
Netball:
- Eunice u/19A won 36 – 6
- 16A lost 19 – 26
- 15A won 27 – 15
- 14A lost 9 – 16
