EHS Tennis. Om die tennisjaar op ‘n hoë noot af te sluit, het EHS ’n tennistoernooi gereël vir laerskoolleerders. Die fokus was om die leerders blootstelling te gee aan wedstryde in ‘n toernooi-formaat.

Na die reën was die deelnemers gelukkig om speelkans te kry. Daar was twee groepe waarin ‘n rondomtalie gespeel is en daarna is daar oorkruis uitgespeel om die wenner te bepaal.

Goeie sportmanskap is aan die dag gelê en die spelers het dit terdeë geniet. Michaél Ronquest het uitgetree as wenner van die toernooi met Johan Potgieter as finalis.

Die Erries sien uit om hierop voort te bou en laerskoolleerders meer geleenthede soos hierdie te bied om deel te neem. Dit was ‘n uitstekende manier om ‘n geseënde tennisjaar mee af te sluit en die Erries sien uit na die tennisjaar van 2023.

EHS Tennis

To end the tennis year on a high note, EHS organised a tennis tournament for primary school learners. The focus was to give the learners exposure to matches in a tournament format.

After the race,the contestants were lucky to get a chance to play. There were two groups in which a round-robin was also played and then crossovers were played out to determine the winner.

Good sportsmanship was displayed and the players also thoroughly enjoyed it. Michaél Ronquest emerged as the winner of the tournament with Johan Potgieter as finalist.

The Erries also look forward to building on this and providing primary school learners with more opportunities like this to participate.
