
Eastern Cape Gymnastics Competition – Union High School in Graaff-Reinet is beaming with pride. Nareece Wessels, Grade 5 learner took the floor and Shining Bright on the Mat! With grace and grit she represent the Sarah Baartman District. The Eastern Cape Gymnastics Competition was held on Sunday, 22 June.
Nareece competed in Level 3, within the competitive 10โ11 age category. She is a passionate and disciplined member of the Karoo Gymnastics Club. Her poise and strength captivated both judges and spectators as she executed each movement with confidence and determination.
Her unwavering commitment, countless hours of training, and love for gymnastics culminated in a stunning performance at the Eastern Cape Gymnastics Competition. She earned her a well-deserved silver medal – a symbol of her talent and tenacity.
This achievement is more than just a medal – it’s a testament to what can be accomplished when perseverance meets passion.
