GQEBERHA — Pearson High School proudly celebrated a weekend of athletic excellence as three of its students represented the Nelson Mandela Bay regional team at the prestigious Eastern Cape Biathle Championships, held recently at Stirling Primary School in East London.
The event brought together top young athletes from across the province, and Pearson’s trio did not disappoint.
🌟 Stellar Performances from Pearsonites
- John Vosloo (U19 Boys) delivered a powerful performance, narrowly missing out on a podium finish with a commendable 4th place. His determination and grit were evident throughout the race.
- Jakobus Reynolds (U15 Boys) earned a well-deserved silver medal, showcasing both speed and stamina in a tightly contested category.
- Elnè Reynolds (U19 Girls) stole the spotlight with a spectacular gold medal victory, dominating her race and securing the top spot with confidence and flair.
A Family Affair
The Reynolds siblings made it a double celebration for their family and school, with both athletes stepping onto the podium. Their success is a testament to dedication, training, and the supportive spirit of Pearson High.
