Eunice learners enjoyed an exciting and enriching day at the UFS Next Generation Sequencing Unit outreach program, where they stepped into the fascinating world of DNA and genomics.
The programme offered a unique opportunity to:
- Tour cutting-edge virology laboratories
- Perform hands-on experiments to extract DNA
- Witness advanced techniques such as PCR and DNA sequencing in action
Learners were further inspired by engaging talks and a dynamic career panel, which opened their eyes to future opportunities in science. A lively quiz competition added to the fun, testing their new knowledge and sparking friendly rivalry.
