“My name is Khanya Mhlongo and I’m the deputy head leader of Hilton College for 2023. It has been said that great leaders create more leaders, not followers. I believe this is true. This year’s leadership team will create more leaders, rather than followers. We will use our influence to enable boys throughout the school to lead in their own ways and in their spheres of influence. Practically, this means reminding boys that they are not only responsible for their own actions. They are also responsible and accountable to one another and called to speak up in the face of injustice and wrongdoing. It also means giving boys who may feel like they don’t have a voice the space to share their perspectives and to introduce changes with our support.
I also enjoy going out, blockchain technology and debating.”
