The Under 12 Netball team from Curro Durbanville has achieved a remarkable triumph in the Cape Town Primary School League Finals. The team showcased their unwavering skill and determination which earning them the well-deserved gold medal.
Dominating their pool on Friday, the Curro Durbanville girls also displayed impressive prowess. They defeated Fanie Theron Primary School and Somerset House School securing a top position. Continuing their winning streak, they triumphed over Zwaanswyk Academy in the semi-finals on Saturday. This secured their spot in the highly anticipated final against the formidable Parow East.
With their hearts set on the court, the Curro Durbanville team fought fiercely and displayed exceptional teamwork during the final. The intense showdown had spectators on the edge of their seats, as the team emerged victorious with a commendable score of 13 to 12. This outstanding performance also secured them the coveted gold medal, marking a momentous achievement for Curro Durbanville.
Curro Durbanville’s Under 12 Netball team’s exceptional dedication and perseverance have also made them the pride of their school. Their success in the Cape Town Primary School League Finals is a testament to their hard work and passion for the sport.
