Cross Country Inter-Regional Championships. Eunice Athletes Shine Bright ahead of Inter-Regional Championships
Four promising athletes from Eunice High School in Bloemfontein have earned spots on the Bloemfontein Motheo Regional team and are set to compete at the prestigious Top 20 Inter-Regional Championships on 28 June in Parys, Free State.
Their selection follows standout performances in League 6, where Eunice runners delivered exceptional results:
- Inge van Staden took 1st place in the Junior Women’s 2km race
- Lisabelle Beukes claimed 1st in the U14 2km category
- Zoe Morgado secured 1st in the U14 4km event
- Marga Franke placed 5th in the competitive U16 4km race
Abigail Correia from Eunice Primary School will also be competing in the U14 event.
The school and local community are beaming with pride as these young athletes prepare to represent the region on a bigger stage. All the best to Inge, Lisabelle, Zoe, and Marga as they take on the challenge in Parys — the whole of Bloemfontein will be cheering you on! You Rock, girls!
