Creston College. The preschool children at Creston College have a very busy day filled with hard work, messy art, and lots of play!
The learners start every day with a morning ring where they discuss the weather, days of the week, months of the year and sing many songs. Before any schoolwork happens, the children get to explore and learn through playtime outside. The children build in the sandpit, swing on the monkey bars, ride bikes, make mud cakes and create with building blocks Furthermore they play in the water and sensory trays and much, much more.
The learners then work in their classrooms, learning all about numbers, shapes, phonological awareness as well as their class themes for the week. Every day the children bring a delicious and healthy lunch to school to give them the energy that they also need. There are lots of creative and expressive art that happens every day in the preschool, where the children get to have fun and design artworks using paint, collage materials, glue, crayons and more. The preschool children also participate in interactive music lessons and energetic, developmental sport lessons throughout the week.
Most days end with a calm and relaxing yet, exciting story book read by their teacher.
