Cape Peninsula Rowers Championships. The St Andrew’s College rowers, Grahamstown, (Makhanda) were in Cape Town for their first competitive fixture of the season over the weekend, the Cape Peninsula Rowers Championships. St Andrew’s raced against Bishops Diocesan College, Rondebosch High School, Somerset College and South African College High School (SACS) in the inaugural Cape Peninsula Championships.
Through some well-contested racing on Saturday, the majority of the St Andrew’s College crews advanced to their finals on the Sunday. Despite some challenging conditions in the final races, our crews delivered a promising set of results.

- • 1st 8+ 2nd – Finishing behind Rondebosch with SACS in 3rd place
In the Boys points trophy, St Andrew’s College took 2nd place overall behind Rondebosch High School.
