Camps Bay High School takes over Soup Kitchen

Camps Bay High School “took over” the Ladles of Love Soup Kitchen at The Haven Night-Shelter in Green Point on Thursday, 25 July.

Camps Bay High School pupils prepared and served meals for Ladles of Love’s guests at The Haven Night-Shelter.

Said Camps Bay High School Principal, Dave de Korte, “This was a great opportunity for our pupils to serve our community

and a wonderful launch for our brand new state-of-art Consumer Studies Classroom.”

Camps Bay High School raised over R12 000 in donations from Camps Bay High School families for ingredients for the soup kitchen.

Said de Korte, “Due to the generosity of our families, we are able to take over soup kitchens regularly and plan to repeat this again soon.”
