Astronaut, Nicole Stott. St Andrew’s School for Girls was privileged to have had Astronaut, Nicole Stott, talk at the school. Fun was had by all with kids dressing up and prizes handed out.
Nicole left the audience in awe with stories of her journeys into space. Nicole Stott’s path to becoming an astronaut was not without its challenges. Like many aspiring space explorers, she faced rigorous training and demanding physical tests. She also experienced a constant need to prove herself in a field dominated by men. However, her unwavering determination and passion for exploration propelled her forward.
Today, Nicole Stott continues to inspire others with her remarkable journey. She speaks at schools, engaging in community outreach, and participate in initiatives that promote STEM education. She also encourages young minds to dream big and pursue their passions, regardless of the obstacles they may face.
St Andrew’s School for Girls thanks Astronaut Stott, for coming to the school. They also thank Steve Sherman from Living Maths, for bringing her out from the United States.
