Treverton College Athletics Team took part at the Aquelle Schools athletic meet in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday members of the where 18 Schools competed. It was a shortened program due to it being a night league event. Javelin, Long Jump, 3000m, 800m and 200m were the events that took place.
The following achieved outstanding/podium results in their age groups.
Kai Broom – 1st in 800m, 2nd in 3000m
Tejah Balie – 2nd in 800m, 2nd in 3000m
Willow Crawford – 3rd in 800m, 3rd in 3000m
All 3 achieved 3rd overall for the evening in their age groups.
Georgina Thompson – 1st 3000m
Sienna Marx – 1st in Javelin
athletic 2nd in Long Jump
Andre Honiball – 3rd in Javelin
Our Open Girls Team won the 4×100m relay event at the end of the evening.
We had some other great results, however, those mentioned above were our stand out achievements.
