Africa Aquatics Zone IV. 🏊♂️ Grey High School Celebrates Rising Star Liam Forsythe’s National Selection.
Grey High School, Gqeberha, is thrilled to announce that Grade 8 learner Liam Forsythe has once again made waves in the world of competitive swimming. Liam has been selected by Swimming South Africa to represent the nation at the prestigious Africa Aquatics Zone IV Open Water Swimming Championships, taking place in Manzini, Eswatini, on 7 September 2025.
This marks Liam’s second appearance on the national stage—a remarkable achievement for such a young athlete. At his previous outing, Liam competed in both the mixed team relay and the 3 km open water swim, where he clinched gold in the U14 men’s 3 km event, showcasing not only his endurance but his competitive spirit.
Liam’s dedication, discipline, and passion for swimming continue to inspire his peers and make Grey High School proud. His journey is a testament to what can be achieved through hard work and heart.
