South Africa Emerging U19 Cricket Team
Some great news coming out of Cricket South Africa HQ. Saints lightning quick fast bowler, Rowen Rajah, has been selected as part of the South Africa Emerging U19 team to tour Zimbabwe. – Mr Rowan Irons (Director of Sport)
South Africa U18 Afrobasket
Taite Hendricks, Grade 12, was selected to represent South Africa at the U18 Afrobasket. It will be held in Pretoria from the 1st to the 14th of September. South Africa is set to play group games against Morocco, Zambia as well as Rwanda. Games will also be available for streaming on the FIBA YouTube channel. U18 Eswatini National Team
St Charles College is happy to announce that Tivadar Maphosa has been selected to play basketball for the U18 Eswatini national team. Tivadar joined St Charles College in the 3rd term last year and has made an immediate impact on the school’s programme. He will be traveling to Zimbabwe to play in the COSSASSA games from the 24th to the 30th of August. – Mr Ben Myburgh (Head of Basketball)
