Biathle- en Triathle Wêreldkampioenskappe. Twee atlete van Sekondêre Meisieskool Oranje, Danny Pienaar (graad 10, triathle) en Marné van Rensburg (graad 9, biathle) is gekies vir die SA-span tydens die Biathle- en Triathle-wêreldkampioenskappe.

Dit vind Oktober vanjaar in Port Said, Egipte plaas. Dis albei se eerste keer wat hulle op hoërskool dié span haal.

Danny was onlangs 2de (o.19) in die triathle op die nasionale kampioenskap in Oos-Londen. Marné het hier ’n 5de plek in die biathle behaal.
