Artscape Opera House - Camps Bay High students shine

Artscape Opera House. Last week, the Artscape Opera House witnessed a spectacular performance by five talented students from Camps Bay High School along with the rest of the Muzukidz students, accompanied by a full Cape Philharmonic Orchestra for the very first time. Ogechukwu Arukwe (Grade 9), Siphesande Makele (Grade 9), Zukhanye Mbatsa (Grade 9), Alizwa Tibisono (Grade 9), and Inam Sondaka (Grade 8) took the stage in an unforgettable evening of music and artistry.

The students, who train with Muzukidz, a non-profit company dedicated to providing musical education to underprivileged children in South Africa, showcased their skills with grace, confidence and exuberance. They seamlessly danced to the rhythm of the music they co-created with the fantastic Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, alongside iconic artists such as Tarryn Lamb, Lynell Kennedy, Lize Beekman, and Robin Pieters at the Suidoosterfees.
