District athletics – Grenville High School

District athletics.

Seven learners from Grenville High School, Rustenburg, participated at the District athletics held at Rustenburg High School on Saturday 24 February. 

• Omphile Moroane – 2nd place – Triple jump
• Koketso Nong – 2nd place 400m Hurdles
• Tlotlo Moatshe – 2nd place – Long Jump
• Mulweli Nemakonde – 3rd place 200m and 2nd place 100m
• Bonolo Tshabalala – 3rd place – Shotput
• Onalenna Mokgale – 1st place – 100m Hurdles
• Karabo Mokone – 2nd place – Long Jump

These seven athletes have qualified to participate in the provincial round, taking place on the 9th of March in Potchefstroom.
