schoolsthatrockNasionale Frogfoot 7’s Rugby. Hoërskool Strand het algeheel tweede by die Nasionale Frogfoot 7’s Rugby toernooi geëindig nadat hulle in die finaal met 19 -14 teen Hoërskool Duineveld van Upington vasgeval het.
Hoërskool Strand is ongelooflik trots op hierdie seuns! Dit is die eerste keer wat die span aan ‘n Nasionale 7’s-toernooi deelneem en só goed vaar. In die poelwedstryde het Strand afgereken met 26-0 teen die verdedigende kampioene, Hoërskool Secunda. Hulle moes met 14+ punte wen om te kwalifiseer vir die semi-finaal.
In die semi-finaal het Hoërskool Strand ‘n harde wedstryd teen Hoërskool Pietersburg gespeel en wen hulle die wedstryd met 19 -14.
National Frogfoot 7’s Rugby. Strand High School finished second overall at the National Frogfoot 7’s Rugby Tournament after falling 19 -14 to Duineveld High School of Upington in the final.
Strand High School is incredibly proud of these boys! This is the first time the team has participated in a National 7s tournament and has done so well. In the pool matches, Strand finished 26-0 against the defending champions, Secunda High School. They needed to win by 14+ points to qualify for the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Strand High School played a hard game against Pietersburg High School and they won the game 19 -14.
