From September 22nd to the 25th, Durban served as the epic backdrop for this intense sailing showdown. The Ross duo’s sailing skills were on full display, and they truly dominated the competition with an impressive 6 wins out of 10 races. But that’s not all! Even in the races they didn’t win, Gabriela and Duncan consistently secured a place in the top four, showcasing their unwavering dedication and incredible teamwork.
This remarkable achievement not only fills the school with immense pride. It also crowns them as the new South African Champions in the Hobie Cat 16 class. It’s a testament to their passion, hard work, and ability to excel on a national stage.
