Laerskool Stulting. Die eerste dag van die “groot skool” was iets waarna baie maatjies oor die land uitgesien het. By Laerskool Stulting, Humansdorp, was daar beslis geen tekort aan opgewondenheid nie!

Die naweek voor die tyd is daar behoorlik geskarrel om tassies, skoolklere, potlode ensovoorts vir die eerste dag van skool gereed te kry. Die maatjies kon omtrent nie wag om met skool te begin nie. Met blink gepolitoerde skoolskoene kon hulle uiteindelik hul eerste tree van hul skoolloopbaan in die gange van Stulting gegee. Die juffrouens van Laerskool Stulting was net so opgewonde om die nuwe maatjies in Graad 1, sowel as in Graad R te verwelkom.

Groot opgewondenheid het ook in die Gr. RR-klassie geheers waar laggende kleingoed die jaar met hul handjies vol verf en klei begin het.

Stulting Primary School. The first day of the “big school” was something many buddies across the country were looking forward to. At Stulting Primary School, Humansdorp, there was certainly no shortage of excitement!

The weekend ahead of time, there was a proper scramble to get bags, school clothes, pencils and so on ready for the first day of school. The buddies just about couldn’t wait to start school. Wearing shiny polished school shoes, they were finally able to take their first step of their school career down the hallways of Stulting. The teachers were equally excited to welcome the new friends in Grade 1, as well as in Grade R.

Great excitement also reigned in the Gr. RR class where laughing little ones started the year with their hands full of paint and clay.
