Boys Football League. Curro Aurora’s boys’ 1st football team participated in the Discovery Cup Johannesburg Boys Football League. The team won all of their pool matches throughout the season and qualified for the playoffs.

The results were as follows:

Curro Aurora beat Fourways High (5-1)
Reddam Helderfontein (10-0)
Roosevelt High (5-0)
Cosmo City Academy (3-2)
Reddam Waterfall (7-0)
King David Victory Park (3-0)

Curro Aurora then beat Cooper College 2-0 in the quarter-finals and Edenvale High School 2-1 in the semi-finals.

The Discovery Cup Johannesburg Boys Football League finals took place at Reddam House Bedfordview on Thursday, 15 September. They played Reddam House Bedfordview and lost 1-0, which saw them win silver medals for the league!

Curro Aurora finished an amazing season playing in two tournament finals. The team finished off being ranked as the 43rd best 1st Team in South Africa. This is according to SA School Sports ranking.
