Hy is een van slegs twee atlete van die WP wat vir die Suid-Afrikaanse span gekies is. Die span gaan vanaf 2 tot 12 Desember 2022 in Malawi aan die “Region 5 Games” deelneem.
Christopher moes ongelukkig weens ‘n fratsbesering aan hierdie groot geleentheid onttrek.
Christopher Smit from Strand High School was selected for the South African Athletics team for hammer throwing. He is one of only two athletes from the WP to have been selected for the South African team. The team will participate in the Region 5 Games in Malawi from 2 to 12 December 2022. Christopher unfortunately had to withdraw from this big event due to a freak injury.
