Nanaga Mountain Biking. Grey High School, Gqeberha, Mountain bikers participated in the annual Nanaga mountain bike event yesterday, 27 March.
Three of Grey’s riders participated in the 50km event. Fifteen riders and the two coaches participated in the 30km event. Nanaga is a very tough terrain and the riders did exceptionally well. 149 Riders took part in the 50km event. Three riders did exceptionally well:
- 10th overall Rowan Farrell (2nd junior)
- 15th overall Alex Milne (3rd Junior)
- 68th Overall Ethan Claridge (1st Youth)
246 Riders took part in the 30km event. Grey High School’s team all finished in the top 3rd of the field. The following riders finished in the top 15 positions overall:
- 2nd overall Jaryd Loenen (2nd youth)
- 3rd overall Ruan Cloete (1st sub junior)
- 4th overall Grant Garner (1st Junior)
- 5th overall Storm Semple (3rd youth)
- 11th overall William Wedderburn (3rd Junior)
- 13th overall Joshua Williams (4th Youth)
- 15th overall Luke Evans (4th Junior)
