Glenwood Prefects 2022. The Glenwood High School Prefects for 2022 were announced at assembly on Tuesday 23 November.

Head Prefect

The Head Prefect for the School and Gibson House is Bandile Mahlaba. Bandile was born on 22 April 2004 in Durban. He attended Smart Kids Pre-Primary on the Bluff until 2010. They then moved to Pietermaritzburg where he attended Heritage Academy Independent School from 2011 to 2016 (Grade 1 to 6). In 2017 they moved back to Durban, Amanzimtoti to be specific. Then he joined Amanzimtoti Primary School for his Grade 7 year. He was the 1st Team Rugby Captain in his Grade 7 year. Bandile is a busy young man, he draws as a hobby, plays touch rugby and enjoys watching movies. He plays rugby and cricket. Banile is also part of the Durban Youth Council and was the Deputy Mayor in 2021. He is also part of the school’s bloodbank representatives. Bandile has five siblings, three sisters and two brothers.
