Craven Week Teams. @sharksrugby High School Rugby Association held final trials Wednesday, 8th September, at Jonsson Kings Park Stadium.

The last two years have been testing times for everyone. In these unusual times, unusual trial procedures were followed to give boys an opportunity of participating in inter-provincial matches. Hopefully, 2022 brings with it a bit more normality to schoolboy rugby.

Congratulations to the Glenwood boys who have been selected to represent the U18 and U16 teams.

U18 Craven Week: Munashe Dukuswa, Phatu Ganyane, Riego Heath, Andre Nell, Sandile Nzuza and Gerrit Ockerse. Mr Jacques Deen has been selected as assistant coach of the U18 Sharks Team and Mr Nhlanhla Bulose is the manager.

U18 Academy: Ryan Manual, Layron Millborrow, Andile Myeni, and Uli Walker. Mr Jono Piek has been selected as the assistant coach of the U18 Academy Team.

U18 Non-Travelling Reserve: Christiaan Els

U16 Grant Khomo: Josh Aissing, Mnelisi Gamede, Njemba Mgomba and Liam Terblanche

U16B (Non-capped): Keegan Goosen, Andrew Martins, Kane Plasket-Burne, and Johandre Van Rooyen

The Sharks High Schools U18 Craven Week Team, Academy Team, and U16 Grant Khomo Team will be participating in friendly inter-provincial matches in October. All details with regards to these matches will be released once they have been finalised.
