WP Closed Juniors Squash. The Williamson brothers from Hout Bay have done it again! Lochlan, currently in Matric and Brody in Grade 9 at Camps Bay High School, participated in the WP Closed Juniors Squash Tournament held this past weekend at WPCC in Rondebosch.
Said Camps Bay High School’s Head of Sport, Ms Busi Ngcwama, “Lochlan played scintillating squash to make it through to the Boys U19 Final where he came up against the WP #1 and SA #7 player. Lochlan pushed his opponent all the way in an incredibly tight final but just came up short. He can be very proud of his Silver Medal and cash prize that he won at the tournament. This cements his spot as the #2 player in WP.”
Lochlan’s younger brother, Brody, also proved that he is going to be a force to be reckoned with, finishing in a credible 8th position in the Boys U16 category.
Said Ngcwama, “Considering that this is Brody’s first year competing in this age category and most of his opponents are a year older than him, this is an excellent achievement.”
