schoolsthatrockCongratulations to all the Senior School girls from St Andrew’s School for Girls, Bedfordview, who participated in the 2021 National English Olympiad. St Andrew’s is thrilled with the outstanding overall results.
A special mention for Angela Wang, who was placed 17th out of more than 4,400 entrants. Many of those entrants were high achievers enrolled at the 243 schools that participated in this year’s Olympiad. Angela received a monetary prize, sponsored by the Grahamstown Foundation and the South African Council for English Education (SACEE). In addition to this prize, she also received the opportunity to be a candidate for a year’s scholarship at Rhodes University!
Well done, Angela – this is remarkable!
