schoolsthatrockToday is World Bee Day! Bees are essential to growing many of our favourite foods as they pollinate fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, many bee species are under threat as a result of changes in land use, pesticides, intensive agriculture and climate change.
To raise awareness for the plight of the Bee, The Environmental Club at Camps Bay High School, painted learners as they arrived at school this morning. Learners were asked to bring a donation to get their faces or hands painted.
Monies raised will go towards “Bee Hotels” the Club will be building.
