Dit is ‘n voorstaande tradisie by ANHS dat die Graad 8’s ingehuldig word as ware Alies tydens hul ‘Blazerseremonie’. Met Covid steeds in ons midde moes ons flink dink om die reëls te eerbiedig – dus was die A-Rugbyveld die antwoord!

They built a make-shift stage, carried all their sound equipment onto the field and they were ready for action! After a gruelling week of orientation the Kalfies showed true grit and proved that they were ready to be welcomed into the Alie culture.

The evening kicked off with a beautiful rendition by the Grade 8s of Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror”. Hulle het die res vermaak met ‘n lyndans en elke ouer en onnie wou omtrent litte los maak en saam gaan dans! Die groot aangeleentheid was egter die oorhandiging van elke Kalfie se blazer deur hul mentor. The mentors played a pivotal role in making the Grade 8s feel at home and reassured.

Die aand is gekroon deur die sing van hul pragtige skoollied. Graag wil ons die Graad 8 ouers bedank dat hulle die prag-geleentheid bygewoon het en dat hul bankvas agter odie Alies staan!
