The Camps Bay High School Facilities Management Team took a moment this morning to remember their co-worker, Carol Lawrence, who passed away on 28 July 2020, after she lost her battle with COVID-19.
Through an initiative with the Western Cape Education Department and the Centre for Conservation Education, we received two Karee (Rhus Lancea) trees to plant in Carol’s memory.
This morning, the entire Facilities Management team from Camps Bay High School gathered at one of the trees, wearing black armbands, and observed a minute of silence to remember Carol and others who have fallen to COVID-19 or as victims of Gender Based Violence.
