St Andrew’s School for Girls learner excels in Tennis

Owethu Makhanya, grade 8, learner of St Andrew’s School for Girls competed in the GrowthPoint Super 8 Tennis Tournament from 24th – 28th of October where she came 2nd overall.
Owethu then went on to compete at the Junior National Tennis Tournament in Bloemfontein where she lost to the 7th ranked player in South Africa and beat the 10th ranked player. Unfortunately the tournament was cancelled due to the weather.
