Brackenfell High School learner receives Black Belt at age 14

Thomas Newman a grade 8 learner (in the middle) graded for 1st Dan (black belt) on Saturday, 12 September. The grading was more or less 4 hours long.
This is a remarkable achievement and his coach had the following to say:
“As Thomas’ instructor I am very proud. Thomas started his Tang Soo Do career about 4 years ago and has gone from strength to strength. I have had the privilege of seeing this young man develop not only as a martial artist, but also from a young boy to a young man of whom his parents can be proud. He always gives 110% and is always prepared to put in the extra time to perfect his passion for Tang Soo Do. Everyone at Prosperity Martial Arts is super proud of him.
Well done Thomas. Tang Soo!!”
