“We are thrilled to welcome old boy, Erik Aissing and his son Daniel to Glenwood in 2021!”
Erik was born and bred in the Glenwood area, attending Penzance Primary, where he was Dux of the School in his Grade 7 year.
During his time at Glenwood he was actively involved in all spheres of School life. Head Prefect in 1993, 1st XV Rugby Captain (Colours with scarf), 1st XI Cricket Captain (Colours), 1st Team Soccer, 1st Team Softball and A-team Athletics (Javelin).
Erik is married to Tracy, they have three children: Joshua, already at Glenwood in Grade 9 who plays U15A rugby and cricket; Daniel currently in Grade 7 at Amanzimtoti Primary, where he is rugby captain, played KZN U12 Club Rugby, he is a monitor, house swimming captain and in the Top 2 of his class; and Tannah in Grade 5 at Amanzimtoti Primary.
Erik has been in corporate for around 20 years and currently he is the Chief Sales Officer at SA Natural Products in Drummond (natural medicinal company.) He is Chairman of Glenwood Old Boys’ Association and on the School SGB.
Erik’s blood is well and truly green!
