On Wednesday afternoon, 5 February, Union Preparatory School’s u/9A mini-cricketers played a fixture against Laer Volkskool. This was the players’ very first match of the season and all the boys were very eager to pit their skills against that of their LVS counterparts.
Both teams played very well, displaying a lot of talent. Union won the match by 10 runs.
Congratulations to Union’s Jordan Maritz on being recognised as the Man of the Match! Jordan took 1 wicket and scored 9 runs.
