Remembrance Day is observed each year on 11 November.
For years, when 11 November does not fall on a Sunday, Remembrance Sunday is celebrated by most congregations on the preceding Sunday.
A Remembrance Day service was, therefore, this year held at the St James’ Anglican Church in Graaff-Reinet on Sunday, 10 November, to remember the men and women who gave their lives in combat.
