Flags flying high at Cradock High School

Over the past couple of weeks, the learners of Cradock High School enjoyed a visit from the well-known Cradock resident, Stephen Mullineux.  Stephen has been visiting CHS weekly on a Wednesday to share his passion and knowledge about the different flags of the world.

Every week learners saw a different flag being introduced and hoisted, but not before Stephen explains the origin of the flag, meaning of the colours as well as sharing a few interesting facts about the flag’s country of origin.  Armed with information planes, which are sent flying into the crowd, as well as fun headwear and/or uniforms, Stephen captivates the attention of the CHS learners.

His visits were enjoyed by both learners and staff who find his presentations very informative and entertaining.  CHS would like to thank Stephen for this initiative and for helping our learners learn more about the world around them.  We look forward to seeing many more colourful flags flying high at CHS.
