St Andrew’s School for Girls excel in Swimming

St Andrew’s School for Girls’ swimmers took part in the Seagulls Winter Short Course Championships in Durban on 26 – 29 September. Well done to the following swimmers who took part: Alice Chevorzetsev, Alisha Calitz, Hannah Robertson, Eryn Mickeljohn, Mia Wildman, Shannen Kench, Kerryn Herbst (captain 2019-2020) and Tyla Campbell. Kerryn Herbst placed 6^th in 50m Breast, 4^th in 50m Free, 3^rd in 50m Back, 2^nd in 100m Fly, 100m Free and 200m IM as well as achieving a 1^st place in 100m Backstroke with a new record! Tyla Campbell participated in 12 events and achieved 4 personal best times in the 800m Free, 100 Back, 100m Breast and 200m IM. Hannah Robertson did exceptionally well and placed 3^rd in 200m IM, 2^nd in 50m Free, 50m Back, 100m Back, 200m Back and the mystery relay as well as placing 1^st in 100m Free, 200m Free, 400m Free, 800m Free (Open age group).
