On Saturday 15 September, St Andrew’s School for Girls in Bedfordview, hosted their annual Spring Expo which has been running since 2009.
This community event has become a highly anticipated annual event with a number of stalls and many fun-filled activities. It was a truly enjoyable day for many individuals and families. This year St Andrew’s School for Girls was fortunate to receive support from FNB bank who played a key role in making the day a success. The event supports local businesses and trade, as well as benefits our internal stakeholders, such as our rowing club and the Matric Dance Committee, in their fundraising efforts.
The Spring Expo had over 100 stalls available, showcasing fashion items, children’s toys, motor car displays, interior decorating, gifts and many more. We also had fun activities for the children, such as the Obstacle Course; a variety of inflatables; the ever-popular House of Horrors and Toddlers’ Play Area. There was also a food court catering for many culinary tastes.
The annual official SA Schools’ Rowing ergothon once again took place at the Spring Expo and brought great excitement with over 800 entries on the day.
The St Andrew’s School for Girls Spring Expo 2018 was a well-balanced event, providing a wide variety of treats and bargains and offering patrons an opportunity to experience the lush gardens and rich history of the school.
Here’s to another worthwhile event at the Spring Expo 2019 next year.
