School rugby report. The much‑anticipated rugby exchange against Jeppe High School for Boys finally arrived — and it proved to be a day filled with character, commitment, and quality performances across all age groups.
Early Momentum
- The U14C and U14D sides set the tone with impressive victories.
- The U16C team followed with a convincing win, while the U16A side produced moments of real magic, capitalising on opportunities and showcasing an exciting brand of rugby.
Open Age Group Success
The Open teams enjoyed a particularly successful day, winning 6 of their 7 fixtures. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th teams faced strong opposition but showed tremendous determination to secure victories of their own. The spirited Brown Socks added to the occasion with a memorable performance.
The Knights’ Encounter
The Knights were fully prepared for their clash. Played at high intensity, both sides brought physicality and pace. As the game unfolded, Northwood found its rhythm and produced some of the finest rugby of the season, ultimately securing a deserved victory. The pride in this group extends far beyond the scoreboard — it reflects their unity, resilience, and growth.
