SSA Level 3 Regionals. Swimming Success at the Regional Level.
Dainfern College is incredibly proud of our student athletes who shone at the recent SSA Regional Championships, achieving outstanding performances and multiple Personal Bests (PBs). Their dedication and talent were on full display, earning medals and qualifying times at both Level 2 and Level 3 competitions.
SSA Level 3 Regionals
Keira Wilson delivered an exceptional set of results:
- 1st Place & PB – 50m Breaststroke
- 1st Place & PB – 100m Breaststroke (1:23.91 – faster than the SA National Junior Champs qualifying time of 1:24.18)
- 2nd Place & PB – 200m Breaststroke
- Top 5 finishes in the 100m and 50m Freestyle (both PBs)
Keira Palmer also impressed with:
- 1st Place & PB – 100m Breaststroke
- 1st Place & PB – 200m Breaststroke
- 3rd Place & PB – 50m Breaststroke
SSA Level 2 Regional Age Group Championships – Germiston
Competing in the Girls age 13 category, Cayla Cunningham brought home a full set of medals:
- Gold – 50m Butterfly
- Silver – 200m Individual Medley
- Bronze – 50m Breaststroke
- Finalist – 100m Breaststroke
This was a fantastic display of commitment, skill, and perseverance. We congratulate Keira Wilson, Keira Palmer, and Cayla Cunningham on their remarkable achievements and thank them for representing Dainfern College with pride.
