SA World Championships Kayak. Treverton College Students Selected to Represent South Africa at World Championships.
Treverton College is proud to announce that two of its students, Jayden Davis and David Dent, have been selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming World Championships for Kayak Cross and Slalom, to be held in Krakow, Poland, during the July holidays.
Earlier this year, Jayden and David showcased their talent at the Africa Championships in Underberg, competing across two weekends. Their outstanding performances earned them places on the national team, making them among just four South Africans under 18 who will compete on the world stage.
In addition to the World Championships, the team plans to participate in further training opportunities and possibly another competition on the European circuit. This will maximize their exposure to elite international competition and provide invaluable experience against some of the best paddlers in the world.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jayden and David on this remarkable achievement. Their dedication, skill, and determination embody the spirit of Treverton College. We wish them every success as they prepare to take on the world.
