Global Junior Golf competition. Worcester Gymnasium – Golf Achievement.
Worcester Gymnasium is proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of MJ Smit (Grade 11), who represented the school at the prestigious Global Junior Golf competition, held at Rondebosch Golf Club from 3 – 5 March.
MJ delivered a consistent and impressive performance across all three days:
- Day 1: 72
- Day 2: 73
- Day 3: 73
Against a strong international field of 65 talented players, MJ secured a tie for 15th place, a remarkable achievement that reflects his skill, discipline, and determination.
We commend MJ for his dedication to the sport and for proudly carrying the Worcester Gymnasium name onto the national stage. His achievement inspires fellow learners to pursue excellence both on and off the field.
