Stulting Primary School, Humansdorp, U13 cricket team delivered a commanding performance against Kruisfontein Primary School. Stulting secured a resounding 8-wicket win in their latest fixture.
After electing to bowl first, Stulting’s young bowlers showcased discipline, accuracy, and teamwork to dismiss Kruisfontein for just 67 runs. Leading the charge was Henko Alers, who produced a fiery spell to claim 4 wickets for 18 runs. He was well supported by Franco Maritz, whose superb figures of 3/7 tightened the grip on the opposition and ensured Stulting remained in control throughout the innings.
With a modest target to chase, Stulting’s batters wasted no time. Playing with confidence and intent, they reached the required runs in only 8 overs, sealing victory with 8 wickets in hand. The clinical run chase highlighted the team’s balanced strength across both bowling and batting departments.
