Gregg Beling Hockey Festival. DSG 1st Hockey Team Opens Gregg Beling Festival with Convincing Win.
The DSG 1st Hockey Team takes part in the prestigious Gregg Beling Hockey Festival, where they will face six of the country’s top school teams.
Their campaign began in style with a commanding 4–1 victory over Eunice High School of Bloemfontein, a side currently ranked among South Africa’s top 10. The match also carried special significance as Jasmine Apps celebrated her 50th cap for the 1st Team — a remarkable milestone that reflects her dedication and impact on DSG hockey.
Adding to the excitement, eight players proudly earned their first caps, marking the beginning of their journeys at this level. The team rose to the occasion, combining determination and teamwork to deliver a performance worthy of the milestone moments.
