Waterstone College is proud to announce that Maia Rahl has been elected Mayor of the Johannesburg Junior Council.
The Johannesburg Junior Council provides a dynamic platform for young leaders to share their ideas, engage in community projects, and drive positive change across the city. It equips youth with valuable leadership skills, fosters collaboration, and empowers them to contribute meaningfully to Johannesburg’s future.
Since joining Waterstone College in Grade 8, Maia has embraced every opportunity offered through the leadership programme. Over the years, she has grown into a confident, articulate young woman, passionate about making a difference in her community.
We look forward to witnessing the positive impact Maia will make in her new role and congratulate her on this outstanding achievement.
