Tournament Highlights
- Eastern Province finished 6th out of 16 teams, securing memorable victories over KZN Coastal and Free State.
- Oliver Whitaker delivered a match-winning spell against the Lions. He claimed 5 wickets for 24 runs – a standout performance that turned heads.
- Connor Holder impressed both behind the stumps and with the bat, playing a composed and valuable 49-run innings against the Titans.
Experience & Growth
Competing at the U16 level was an invaluable opportunity for both players, sharpening their skills against some of the country’s best young talent. This taste of high-level cricket has undoubtedly fuelled their hunger to return stronger for the 2026 edition of the tournament.
Leadership & Support
Special recognition goes to Mr Scott Jackson, Teacher in Charge of Cricket, who travelled with the team as Manager. His guidance and encouragement provided vital support to our boys throughout the week.
🎉 Congratulations!
A huge well done to Oliver, Connor, and Mr Jackson for flying the St Andrew’s flag high and making the College proud. Their achievements reflect not only individual brilliance but also the spirit of teamwork and dedication that defines St Andrew’s cricket.
