CSA T20. The cricket season is heating up, and York High’s 1st Team is making waves! In the CSA T20 clash on Wednesday, 22 October, against Rosemoor Hub, York’s squad delivered a commanding all-round performance. The team had spectators on the edge of their seats.
Batting first, York piled on a formidable 204/2. The innings was anchored by a masterclass from Ethan Botha. He dazzled with an unbeaten 104 off 64 balls, peppered with precision and power. Singumzi Blou complemented the effort beautifully, contributing a stylish 73 off 55 balls, setting the tone for a dominant display.
With the ball, York’s bowlers kept the pressure relentless. Rosemoor was held to 126/7 in their 20 overs, thanks to standout spells from Tyron de Bruyn (3/21) and Ethan Cox (2/17). Their disciplined attack sealed a resounding 78-run victory.
