Public Speaking – Michaelhouse School Shines!
A huge congratulations to Kai de Klerk of Baines D Block, who proudly represented Michaelhouse in the KwaZulu-Natal round of the Radikale Redenaars public speaking competition this August. Kai delivered a standout performance, securing first place and earning a spot at the national finals!
On Saturday, 18 October, Kai took to the stage at Laerskool Concordia in Boksburg, where he presented his compelling English experimental speech:
“Guilty as Charged: Social Media Has Blood on Its Hands.”
With remarkable clarity, confidence, and conviction, Kai captivated the judges and clinched an impressive 2nd place nationally!
Well done, Kai — your achievement is a source of immense pride for the entire Michaelhouse community.
