That sealed the title in a dramatic playoff hole that had spectators on edge. Over three intense days, he posted consistent rounds of 40, 41, and 39, showcasing remarkable skill and focus well beyond his years.
A Gateway to the World Stage
This elite tournament serves as a global qualifier for five major international events in 2026, including destinations like , the USA, Asia, and Australia. Israel’s triumph not only earned him a trophy — it opened doors to the world.
Closest to the Pin Champion
Among 196 competitors aged 6 to 18, Israel emerged as the Closest to the Pin Challenge winner in the junior division. His shot landed just 2 feet from a hole-in-one, electrifying the crowd and marking one of the tournament’s most unforgettable moments.
KZN Order of Merit — Top 10 Finish
Competing against older boys in the Under-8 category, Israel tied for 6th place overall in the KZN Order of Merit. This is his first Top 10 finish and yet another trophy to add to his growing collection.
